Carmi Katsir is a glass artist located in remote woods of mid-coast Maine. 

I have had the pleasure of working with glass for the past 25 and am as addicted as the day one. I started learning about glass at the age of 5 from my father, Dani Katsir. Since then I have enjoyed exploring many of the processes of working with glass including glass blowing, lampworking, fusing, mosaics, and stained glass. 

Living in the backwoods of Maine, my wife and I spend a lot of time close to nature. Much of my work is directed by my experiences observing nature and contain elements of repetition with subtle random variation. I like to hide little details and that you may not notice at first glance. 

I also love teaching and sharing the joy of working with glass.
